I have compiled a short list of the best free graphic design resources on the web with a short description for each.
DeviantArt Deviantart is a very popular website among Graphic Designers, Photographers, Poets, Artists and more…You can make a portfolio, ask for critique, browse submitted art, comment on other peoples work and download lots of free things like Desktop Wallpapers, Fonts, Icons, Skins, and various other bits of useful resources. There are many talented artists there and they are very friendly too.
PSDtuts PSD Tutorials is generally regarded as one of the leaders in photoshop tutorials, i personally visit the site at least once a week and usually learn something new. They have tutorials on how to make Vista looking menus, gold text, 3d art, and much much more. Check it out.
DaFont is basically a free font database, they have 1000’s of free fonts for all kinds of work especialy Famous Fonts like Harry Potter, Coca Cola etc… I suggest you bookmark it.

Ever needed a vector format of a known logo? This is the perfect place to find it, they have 1000’s if not millions of logos from around the world, From Apple to Zebra. You can even upload your own logo in EPS or AI format for others to download.
One of the hidden gems online, alomost all of you readers are probably using Adobe software like Photoshop, Illustrater, Dreamweaver etc… And i bet you never knew about Adobe Exchange. It’s a free resource with 1000’s of different downloads like Free PSD’s, Free Photoshop Brushes, Free gradients, Free Custom Shapes and so much more….You should check it out as soon as you can, You won’t regret it.
Well, it’s not really free, but you get 5 free credits just for signing up with them and they give away one free high rez stock photo ever single week. They have millions of Royalty Free Stock Photos, Including Jewish themed photos, Food, Landscapes and everything else you can imagine, oh! i forgot to mention - they also have lots and lots of awesome vectors! Downloads start at just 1$ per photo. I’m sure you guys already know about it….but for the few of you that don’t, its worth a shot. You won’t lose a penny by trying.
Free IconsEvery graphic designer can use some free PNG icons, for web design and even print design this site offeres lots of free PNG icons (yes they have transparent backgrounds - Duh!) for you guys, Web 2.0, Office, Orbs, Mac and much more… If it’s free it’s worth it.
This guy is great, I use his stuff litterly every day, The Jewlab Logo was created using his Web 2.0 Layer Styles, He has lots of Freebies on his site, like free PSD’s. Free photoshop layer styles and even gradients. Thank you dude! You are awesome!
Brusheezy
A great resource for downloading free Photoshop Brushes, Free Photoshop Patterns and other resources. No need to register, it’s all free! Take it or leave it.
Vecteezy
A great resource for downloading Free Vector files in EPS or AI Format, Will work on PC or MAC, I love the site and i visit it weekly.
Last but not least, lets hear a round of applause for this guy - Looks like he (Aaron Ovadia) is Jewish too, He is an amazing graphic designer and he is sharing his talent with you! He has a whole page of Free PSD’ templates, Most of them follow the web 2.0 theme, Stop by and download! Check out his Blog while your at it
