Free PSD Buttons

This is my first installment of free PSD’s that I plan to upload. I have decided that it’s time to actually give back to the world after all the taking I have been doing.

It’s amazing how many artists give away their hard work for free, and don’t get nothing back for it. So first of all I would like to give a shout out to my favorite 2 designers.

Aaron Ovadia – A very talented Graphic Designer who happens to be one of the first to offer web 2.0 buttons on his website/blog. Thank you dude!

Deziner Folio – Another talented designer with exceptional photoshop skills. I use his Web 2.0 Gradients and Web 2.0 Styles on a daily basis; In fact this PSD below is based on his web 2.0 styles. Thanks a lot!

Back to Buttons, This file has 42 individual PSD buttons that can be edited in Photoshop then used in Dreamweaver, Flash or Frontpage. Each button consists of 2 or 3 editable & re sizable layers that can be stretched to virtually any size and changed to any color style.

These buttons can be used with CSS to produce stunning and web-complient buttons. To see a quick tutorial on how to turn these PSD Buttons into Proper flexible CSS buttons see DynamicDrive’s Sliding Door CSS. You can also try using a Mouseover/Hover Effect.

Running a blog, writing quality content and maintaining your search rankings is not an easy task for a one man band. Us bloggers don’t have a team of SEO experts taking care of our blogs, we are forced to do it ourselves. It is very difficult to be first on Google for common search terms, but if you have a Specialty blog like Jewlab, then you will find it easier to be first on Google for less common keywords.

I have put together a few tips based on my own experience that I believe everyone should follow, It will almost guarantee better placement for your blog, especially if paired with quality content and constant updates.

Jewish Firefox Addons

Jewish Addons for Firefox and Hebrew extensions for Fire Fox are out there, but they are sometimes hard to find. I have compiled a list of the most popular Jewish widgets and Jewish addons and Extensions for Firefox and other applications.

Hebrew GmailGmail RTL Firefox Extension

“The extension adds the direction buttons, that are currently available only in the Hebrew & Arabic Gmail interfaces. Direction buttons allows you to write in Right-To-Left and Left-To-Right manners”

This hebrew gmail addon was created for the sole benefit of being able to write and read hebrew in gmail using Firefox

Keywords: Hebrew Gmail, Hebrew Gmail in Firefox, Firefox right to left, Firefox rtl, firefox ltr, Hebrew Gmail Firefox Extension

Sifre Kodesh Search Sifrei Kodesh Search for Firefox“Search the Hebrew texts of Tana”ch, Mishna, Talmud Bavli, Talmud Yerushalmi, Tosefta and Mishna Torah.” Combining the power of Firefox, Google and the Mechon Mamre text library, this extension allows you to search the Hebrew texts of Tana”ch, Mishna, Talmud Bavli, Talmud Yerushalmi, Tosefta and Mishna Torah. You can search as broadly as all of these sources or as specifically as a single book of Tana”ch, a single tractate of Mishna or a single set of Halachot of the Mishnah Torah. The extension includes an onscreen Hebrew keyboard to assist those who do not know the Hebrew keyboard layout and/or do not have Hebrew input support on their machines. (You can use this keyboard to copy and paste Hebrew text into other things also).keywords: Sefer Firefox Extensions, Torah Firefox, Hebrew Firefox, Jewish Firefox, Search Hebrew Books, Search Seforim, Search sefer in firefox,

Hebrew Keyboard for Firefox“Allows typing into phonetic Russian, Ukrainian, Amharic, Arabic, Armenian, Hindi Davangari, Hebrew, Mongolian, greek… transforming translit into the choosen language…”This seems to be a very cool Hebrew Firefox Addon, Although I haven’t tried it yet it seems to have only positive feedback. Typing hebrew in firefox is not an easy task so this addon will deffinatly help you type Hebrew or Ivrit in Firefox.

Hebrew Calendar for Firefox “Show the Hebrew date in your browser’s status.. “Hebrew Calendar for FirefoxThe reviews are not so great but it is still a worthwhile extension for Displaying the Hebrew Date in Firefox. So if you are looking for a Hebrew Date Firefox addon, you should try it.
